Matrice Ellis-Kirk Managing Partner Heidrick & Struggles Matrice Ellis-Kirk is managing partner of Diversity Services at Heidrick & Struggles working with clients on developing an inclusive pipeline of talent. Her passion is in the boardroom, working with clients to build a board representative of their constituency. She also leads the global Knowledge Management organization, creating a differentiated value in customer solutions. As a member of the management committee, she recently held a North America corporate role leading the client service organization where she streamlined internal processes. Her current search work focuses on the Board of Directors Practice. Matrice is active within the business and civic communities, serving on a number of boards, including UT Southwestern Medical Foundation, The Dallas Center for the Performing Arts and the University of Pennsylvania Board of Visitors. She has served on a number of public company’s boards including Chancellor Media and ACE Cash Express. Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Matrice spent several years with another international recruiting firm based in Chicago. There she conducted senior level assignments for business-to-consumer companies. Prior to a career in search, Matrice spent several years as vice president and office manager of Apex Securities, a Texas-based investment banking firm. Previously, she worked as director of the office of management and budget with Dallas Area Rapid Transit and earlier with MBank Dallas in several commercial banking roles. Matrice holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
